SMSC Development

At Nuqtah Primary School, we actively promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural (SMSC) development through all aspects of school life. Themed weekly assemblies are carefully planned to encourage pupils to reflect on their values and beliefs and develop empathy and respect for others. Engagement with the local community plays a key role in social development.

Next term, pupils will be visiting a care home to show care and respect to the elderly, fostering empathy and a sense of responsibility towards others. Cultural awareness is further nurtured through curriculum learning, celebrations of diversity, and exploration of different faiths and traditions. These experiences help pupils appreciate different perspectives and prepare them to thrive in a diverse society.
